In our fine-dining restaurant, we spoil our guests with culinary experiences that touch all the senses. Down-to-earth, seasonal and creative, our chef de cuisine Lasse Knickrehm concentrates on the essentials. Ideas are thought through in the team and result in well-rounded and harmonious menus. The chef always wants to surprise his guests.

Years of experience with regional suppliers guarantee high product quality – the basis for freshness and excellent taste.

The renowned GUSTO guide has awarded our kitchen performance with 8 “Gusto pans”. For ambience, service and equipment, we also received the highest rating of 3 forks.

Gault&Millau awards our Ahlmanns 3 out of 5 toques. “On the Kiel Fjord, Lasse Knickrehm cooks fine, creative and independent compositions with a focus on fish and vegetables at a high level in a historic banker’s villa.” A wonderful praise for the creative signature and dedication of our kitchen team.

In addition to our excellent rating of 2.5 points in the prestigious restaurant guide “Der Feinschmecker”, we are pleased to receive a special award for our chef Lasse Knickrehm: As “Rising Star of the Year 2024”, he impressively proves that Ahlmanns is one of the most exciting fine dining addresses in Germany.

The Varta Guide has honoured us with 3 diamonds and the “Star Tip” award – a symbol of excellence in cuisine and service.

In the Schlemmer Atlas we were rated with 3.5 wooden spoons. Basic products, creativity, quality of preparation, wines, service and atmosphere were highlighted. (Maximum rating: 5 wooden spoons)

Falstaff, the leading wine and gourmet journal, rates us with 88 out of 100 points and 2 out of 4 forks. Food, service, ambience and the excellent wine selection were highlighted.
